Your first step is picking up a D2 and D4 form from your local Post Office. The D2 is your application for a provisional lorry or bus licence — take your time filling this in carefully at home. The D4 is your medical examination report — don't fill this one in yourself. Instead, bring it along to your appointment with a DVLA-approved medical examiner, who will complete it on your behalf. Once your medical is passed and your forms are submitted, you're cleared to move on to the next stage of your training.

A solid understanding of the rules of the road is the foundation of safe, professional driving. Our theory preparation covers the HGV multiple-choice test and hazard perception, with study materials and mock tests to build your confidence. We know the material inside out, and we'll make sure you do too.

This is where it all comes together. Our practical training puts you in the cab with experienced, patient instructors who know what the examiners are looking for. From vehicle safety checks and manoeuvring to full road driving, you'll train on real routes in real conditions — so when test day comes, you're ready.
